Dermal Fillers

What is Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid- a naturally occurring substance found in the skin that helps maintain hydration, volume, and elasticity. When expertly injected as a filler, it attracts and binds water molecules, restoring lost volume, smoothing fine lines, and enhancing facial contours for a refreshed, natural look.

Each hyaluronic product used at Prestige Beauty Lounge is carefully selected to match your anatomy and goals. Results are immediate and continue to refine as the filler integrates over the following days.

Longevity and Natural Dissolution

Results from hyaluronic acid fillers are immediate and can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on the treatment area, product used, and your individual metabolism. Over time, the body gradually breaks down and safely absorbs the filler, returning the skin to its pre-treatment state without any residue.

Our Philosophy

At Prestige Beauty Lounge, dermal filler treatments are about balance, not exaggeration. Using advanced techniques and a deep understanding of facial anatomy, we enhance your natural structure to restore volume, soften lines, and highlight your best features. All injections are preformed by our Registered Nurse Injector, ensuring the highest level of safety, skill and artistry in every treatment.

How to Prepare for Treatment

To minimize the risk of bruising or swelling, it’s best to avoid alcohol, blood thinners, aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil supplements for about 24-48 hours before your appointment. Stay hydrated and arrive with clean skin, free from makeup or skincare products. Skip active skincare products such as retinoids, AHAS, BHAS, or exfoliating acids – for 2-3 days prior to treatment, as they can make the skin more sensitive.
If you have a history of cold sores, please let your provider know in advance, as preventive medication may be recommended.

After Care

Post-Treatment Care

After your filler treatment, it’s normal to experience mild swelling, tenderness, or small bruises, which typically resolve within a few days. To support healing and maintain your results:

  • Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated areas unless instructed by your injector.
  • Apply a cool compress intermittently for the first 24 hours to reduce swelling.
  • Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, and direct sun or heat exposure for 24-48 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol and salty foods for the first day, as they can increase swelling.
  • Stay hydrated hyaluronic acid loves water, and hydration helps optimize your results.
  • Sleep on your backwith your head elevated for the first night to prevent pressure on the treated area.
  • Delay facials, massages, laser treatments, or dental work for at least 1-2 weeks unless cleared by your injector.
  • Expect your filler to settle and integrate over 1-2 weeks;final results are usually seen once any swelling has subsided.
